Varietal: 100% Melon de Bourgogne
Tasting Notes: The mouth is large and tasty, dedicated to the pleasures of the table. Balanced, beading and fruity in the mouth, it should grow in length thanks to a small guard
Wine Making: 24 exploited hectares are therefore declined in these soils, mainly on silico-clay, stony hillsides on the surface
Cuvée Prestige 2016
For 4 generations, Château Elget has been spreading its vineyards in the commune of Gorges, between Clisson and Mouzillon. 22 hectares of vines are planted on slopes on a soil composed of mother rock and gabbros. Cultivated in sustainable agriculture , the vineyard is mainly planted with the Burgundy melon grape variety and produces 100% of the wines classified on the AOC Muscadet Sèvres and Maine . Winemakers from father to son, the Gilles Luneau family produces many vintages of white, red and rosé as well as a traditional method emblematic of the appellation, its complexity and its specificities.
