Wine making:
Low yield: 36-37 hl/hectare.
The grapes are picked manually.
Total de-stemming.
Temperature controlled maceration and fermentation.
Raised in oak casks for 20 months to allow a subtle refinement of tannins.
Aging for 2 years in big barrels, then 2 more years in bottle before being released.
This wine is built around the grape variety of the appellation Mourvèdre which gives it the power and scale but especially the character and the character of Bandol. Its assembly with Grenache and Carignan makes a wine of rare
About Winery:
The estate, in the same family since the eighteenth, developed over generations now operates an area of 55 hectares located on the slopes of Le Castellet in the heart of the appellation wines of Bandol.
The culture of the vine is traditional with reasoned interventions on Biological soil fertility, using only natural amendments.
Respectful of the environment, the Estate does not use chemical weed killers or insecticides.
