Wine Making: This cuvée is the result of a strict work in the vineyard: limited yield (45hl/ha), picked at full maturity during the coolest hours… Only the free run juice and the first press are selected. Vinification is traditional under temperature control during the fermentation. A second fermentation (malolactic) is done to extract a deeper body and complexity before being aged on lies.
Terrior: Buis d’Aps is a place in the municipality of Alba La Romaine, around which this Pinot Noir is grown, on clay-limestone soils.

With a beautiful landscape of picturesque villages, surrounded by Garrigue, olive trees, chestnut trees and lavender, Ardèche hides a mosaic of terroirs where various grape varieties are grown : rich and fleshy reds (Syrah, Grenache noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot noir…), elegant and fruity rosés (particularly “Gris” rosés) and high class whites made of Viognier, Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc and Grenache blanc.
Vignerons Ardéchois produces 85% of Southern Ardèche wines (IGP Ardèche) and Côtes du Vivarais AOP, Côtes du Rhône AOP.
