Tasting Notes:

Wine Making: The harvest is manual and followed by careful sorting on the table. The vatting lasts about twenty days, the temperature being controlled by thermoregulation. Then the wine is aged in vats for 18 months
About Winery:
Château Beauséjour was created in the 1870s. A family farm, it has been spreading for five generations.
The Charlemagne showed a keen interest in the vineyard and, it is said, incited the development of wooden barrels rimmed with iron for the transport of wine.
Region:
The Fronsac appellation (in Bordeaux) is located in the triangle formed by the confluence of Isle and Dordogne. It is surrounded by a complex set of steep limestone hillsides.
